Hollisterrich 0 Posted March 10, 2008 Okay so i finished my 6 month course of accutane is December and iv been clear except now i have blackheads and oily skin and clogged pores on my forehead and i want to use a blackhead scrub..... but...... Can i use a Salycic acid wash everyday? Is my skin still sensitive to exfoliat everyday??? i mean im oily like i was pre-tane. So right now im using dove soap and i feel to like over mostrized (idk how to spell it). The scrubs i want to use is the 1.clean and clear blackhead scrub and 2.Neutrogena Blackhead eleminating scrub 3.Or Neutogena oil free acnti stress power foam wash I seriously don't know what to do so Please help!!!!!!!! I'm three months in accutane now and I use a mild washingcream which also has Salycic acid in it and it never dried my skin out and you say your skin is oily again so that shouldn't be a problem. I also think you can exfoliate again, but I wouldn't do it everyday. That is just to harsh, twice a week or so would be better. Good luck! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I would ask your derm. for his/her opinion on the most effective way in getting rid of them first just so that you don't waste money on products that don't work. Good luck.
