Recommended Posts

i have been taking like 14-15 supplement pills a day, and a 300mg tetracyclin(think its limecyclin) daily.. my friends made me stop the supplements coz, it might be smart with it but the liver cant take all that many? is that true? that too many pill supplements, rapes the kidneys and lvier instead of strenghtening it and overall health?

Obviously it would depending on what the supplements are. If they are quality nutrients that strengthen the liver, then they will strengthen the liver. And you'd probably be better off cutting out the antibiotic.

It would also depend on the relative amounts of each; for example if you're megadosing on Vitamin A then the added stress of the other supplements would stress your liver even more.

And the number of pills doesn't have anything to do with it. Your liver doesn't digest the pills.

There are several supplements that should be taken in smaller amounts throughout the day or there's really not much point. That would mean you might be taking a lot of pills.
