Does BP interfere with sunscreen at all?

Recommended Posts

I wear Eucerin SPF 30 over my BP (very fair skinned) and I never get burned. However, I think I'm getting splotchier as I age. Is that the BP interfering with the SPF? I've also been on birth control for years, so I thought that might have something to do with it. It's not a ton of splotchiness, it just seems a tad more noticable.

By splotchiness I assume you mean melasma. Birthcontrol pills can cause this, but it's also common in women anyway, especially as we age. Sun exposure can make it worse, so it's good that you are using sunscreen every day.

As long as the sunscreen is on top, I'm pretty sure the bp won't interfere with it.
