Does using Philosophy's "the present" prevent bleaching your pillowcase?

Recommended Posts

I use Philosophy's "the present" clear make up. It's noncomedogenic. It's supposed to seal in moisturizer. Might this prevent the bp from bleaching my pillowcase?

I don't think it's a very good idea to go to bed with any kind of makeup on. I think the best thing to do if your pillowcases are suffering is to buy some white ones, or pull an old t-shirt over your pillow before you go to sleep to prevent the BP from getting on the case. :D

I could do that, but I sorta like the idea of just not having to worry about it.

It's not really make up, exactly. It's more like a protective covering. (It was originally developed as a protective barrier for burn victims, actually.)

:P Well, if it doesn't break you out, then I suppose it couldn't do any harm. I don't think it would keep the BP on your skin from getting on your pillowcase, especially when you sweat. I like the idea of not worrying about it either... I keep my pedestal fan on low so I don't get hot. But as for the BP not bleaching your linen, I don't really have many more suggestions if you don't want to be fussed over it. I guess the best thing to do if you don't want to worry about it is just get a white pillowcase. Then it wouldn't matter if you got BP on it anyway.
