Using red mark products with acne?

Recommended Posts

Glycolic acid is actually suppose to help fade red marks and fade acne since it exfoilates your skin and keeps pores from being clogged. So, it should not make acne any worse, I'd give it a go.

I don't think it should be a problem. I've been using mandelic acid (an AHA) to fade acne marks but find that it's also very effective in treating active acne so it's like the total package.

Like others said above, most red mark fading products actually help clear acne.

How about vitamin E oil? I've been using it lately because it helps to clear red marks SO MUCH, but I'm just worried it will clog my pores and course more breakouts etc.

I don't apply the oil straight, I mix it in the palm of my hand with my moisturizer so it goes on evenly.

Just be careful to not use any products which will block your pores as that will cause more spots, and try not make your skin too dry as I find this makes me break out.
