Recommendation for good Oil Free natural mositurizer

Recommended Posts

Hi i was wondering if any of you out there can help me with chosing a good moisturizer.I've been using proactiv for about 6 years now and it's alrite isn't the BOMB but isn't that bad like many people say. I've been also using Olay face moisturizer for as long as I can remmeber..recently out of curiosity I googled the ingredients in there and found that it isn't all that natural and some even have mineral oil. I was wondering if any of you know of any good oil free non comedeogenic moisturizers? thanks!

I used ProActiv for years with good results. It stopped working for me though. I usually used Olay, but have since done a lot of research when it comes to products. Someone mentioned Murad, but that could be problematic for some people with acne because it contains talc. Personally, Murad products were the WORST thing I ever put on my skin.

You mentioned natural, so here are some natural suggestions:

-Kiss My Face ( http://www.kissmyface.com)

-Aubrey Organics (online at http://www.aubrey-organics.com ).

-Avalon Organics (http://www.avalonorganics.com )

-Jason Natural (http://www.jason-natural.com )

-Burt's Bees (www.burtsbees.com ).

-I personally use (and love) Terressentials Flower Therapy Line, including their Daily Renewal Facial Lotion. You can view all their ingredients at http://www.terressentials.com/facialcareingr.html#520. I've stopped using BP and AHA sine starting it and my skin has cleared.

Some of these companies list the full ingredient list on their websites, some do not. If you put the product name in google most of the time you can find an ingredient list somewhere. I'd try to find the ingredient list before purchasing though.

You mentioned "Oil free." I know that's what we are taught when me start having bouts with acne, but there are some natural oils that help improve your skin--without making oily skin oilier if that is your concern. If you find a lotion that interests you, search the individual ingredients and figure out if the oils in it could actually be good for your skin.
