question about applying twice a day

If you do the regimen twice a day, in the morning and at night (duh), do you wash off the first application with warm water, then clean, dry, apply BP, and moisturize? Or should you leave the first application on, and just clean over it?

You only need to cleanse once each time you do the regimen. You will be washing off the previous application of BP and moisturizer and skin oil and residues and whatever else you have on your face off by cleansing, so then your face is ready to have more BP applied to it.

Wash in the morning. Any residue from last night's bp/moist/oil will come off in the wash, then reapply the products and leave them on all day.

Then wash in the evening. Any residue form the day's bp/moist/oil/makeup, etc. will come off in the wash. Then reapply the products and leave them on all night.

edit: woops! Must have been posting while Cool As Kim Deal was. She explained it well. :)

So it would be better to get rid of previous applications through the cleaning solution, rather than just warm water?

Each time you cleanse, use a cleanser, not just water. When you cleanse, you splash your face with some lukewarm water, then you lather the cleanser up in your hands, then you gently apply it all over your face, then you splash it off with more lukewarm water until it's all gone, and then you gently pat your face dry with a clean towel. That's all there is to the cleansing step.

So cleansing is to get rid of previous applications as well?
