Mags_Australia 0 Share Posted November 29, 2007 I've been on the Regimen for about two months now and am wondering when improvements in my skin will start! Currently I'm:* Cleansing gently twice a day with Cetaphil Cleanser for Oily Skin* Using the full amount of Benzoyl Peroxide in the evening and a smaller amount in the morning (using the full amount twice a day really dried out my skin and made it itchy)* Moisturising with Cetaphil Moisturing Lotion* Taking zinc supplements* Taking an oral contraceptive pill that is supposed to help with acne (Brenda 35 ED)* Reducing the amount of makeup I'm wearing and ensuring that the makeup I do use is non-poor clogging and oil free* Avoiding touching my face at all. I've noticed the general texture of my skin improve in the areas where I don't have acne. However, there are a number of persistent red pimples that won't go away and I do still get new ones. Can anyone spot anything I'm doing wrong or could be doing better? Thanks in advance,Maggie.
manfal 0 Share Posted November 30, 2007 are you exfoliating?.....cuz i pretty much had the same regimen as you and i kept on getting persistant pimples and so then i used baking soda with my cleanser and that cleared it up.....cuz the dead skin could be clogging your pores. but i also stopped using BP after a certain period of time cuz i found i didnt need it anymore

However, I have tried the baking soda tonight so I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for your advice.
