DKR user who woke up with a bright red spot

Ok last night I went to bed skin was very shibby, no redness, scars fading, yehaw. I wake up this morning and on my right cheek is a spot as red as a tomato and damned near flat. I thought it was an old scar that got irritated during the night so I didn't think much of it. I put some Aloe Vera on it, which helped but the damned thing persists.

So on to this morning is now a purple-ish red and hurts very deep in the skin, although its hardly even raised. It looks like something I royally screwed with but I haven't. This is also the only active spot on my face.

My only conclusion was that a blocked pore was directly under a blood vessel and that blood vessel popped. This is the only thing I can come up with.

Help!

If it swells at all, try icing it a few minutes several times a day. Taking an anti-inflammatory (ibuprofen, aspirin, Aleve, etc.) would probably help too.

Sounds like a nodule maybe (?). The super painful, hard bumps, deep under the skin.

I agree, try icing it and apply some 10% BP to the spot. Don't squeeze it.
