they're a good source of fiber, digestive enzymes, protein etc. since it's not related to grains it should be completely fine. i have ibs and my doctor says all vegetables are good for it. :)

Well frozen are usually better for nutrition (even usually better than fresh) and haven't been processed for tinning - and if you get the ones in salted water, then naturally they contain more sodium - frozen peas are fine for me :)
