Aveeno Ultra-Calming cleanser

Hey guys,

I've been wanting to change cleansers for a while...now

I feel like the Cetaphil bar I've been using is contributing

to dryness of my skin. Along with the cold, dry weather and

the BP I use nightly, my face feels like a Freddy Krueger mask.

Ok, it's not that bad but it is definitely flake city. I've heard rather

good things about this Aveeno Ultra-Calming foam cleanser and

it's fragrance-free, soap-free, noncomedogenic, and hypoallergenic-

sounds pretty swell to me. I'm always scared of trying something

new on my skin for fear of it breaking out, but my face feels immediately

dry and super tight after washing so I know it's time to put the kibosh on

the Cetaphil.

Anyone have any experiences with this cleanser?

Thanks!

Great, thanks for the replies!

I've been using it now since

Wednesday night and so far

I like it. I feel much less dry

than before and my skin seems

less like it's peeling off my face.

Darn it, I hope to heck it keeps working...

I haven't tried the cleanser..but I do use Aveeno's ultra calming moisturizer day/night and it helped to reduce the redness

I used Aveeno Ultra Calming cleanser earlier this year for about 5 months, and it did not exacerbate my breakouts. However, I did feel like it did not rinse off completely. There was a leftover residue, which did make my skin feel softer. If it's working for you, give it a good try and decide for yourself.
