What foods are bad for acne?

Just as with acne treatments, so with food sensitivites and allergies. Each person has his/her own triggers. You'll just have to determine with experimentation which ones affect your acne.

The most common problem foods are: salty foods, dairy. For me, I will breakout if I eat a fast food hamburger.

Check out the supplements threads. Think zinc, fish oil, etc.

Hm for me i don't know which gives me acne...

i always eat same food .

but now i eat less , so lets see which is causing me ACNE :)

so far i ate lots of chocolate last week.. , ( no acne still )

Pizza , hamburger ( which has cheese!! ( diary ) ^^

still no break out.

so i guess it depend on ur skin.. we all got different skin..

try not to eat different things.

just eat same food and see which gives u break out

if it does , avoid it!

PS: i guess i get acne cause one my parent had bad acne before... >_>

The "individual foods as trigger" approach is completely flawed and unlike what some believe it may apply just to a minority of us.

For me, for example, no food is a real trigger (certainly not starches, gluten, dairy, nuts)

Only a global unhealthy lifestyle is a trigger for me.

I got to bed late, wake up late, eat the first shitty food I can find, coach potato all day in front of the television, stay irritable and stressed the whole day and I get major breakouts.

I go to bed earlier, wake up soon and go take a walk, eat fresh nutritional foods (especially tons of veggies) exercise and took up activities, remain calm and try to relax and my acne disappears.

Acne is the reaction of your body to unhealthy living. Acne is a signal of a serious internal mess. And that internal mess is nothing but the end result of a series of abuses we inflict to the body and not just the consequence of X factor (let alone gluten, dairy)

It will never depend on just one single isolated factor but on the global holistic situation

I expecially don't like the superficial and egocentric approach of Healthoid.

What does the hell "people from this forum" means?

I don't think of "exceptions" as "exceptions" but as the "evidence that the general rule is flawed and that they theory is wrong".

I and many others doesn't find any particular food a trigger.

Instead lack of health is our acne-trigger and health is own acne-cure.

I think it's pretty simple... just stick to healthy clean foods. If they are good for your body, they are most likely good for your skin.
