Accutane and Cholestrol

Was about to pick up my accutane tabs ( Going on it for the first time ) when doctor calls and lets me know that the blood test results are back and my cholestrol is high ( 220 and triglycerides 340 ). She said i have to wait until my cholestrol is down.

damn looks like i have to wait for months now. Did anyone come across something like this?

Turn your diet around. I dropped my cholesterol from 208 to 168 in two months WHILE on Accutane, simply by eating less saturated fat and more cholesterol-lowering food like oatmeal, walnuts, almonds, olive oil, etc.

Yeah, whatever you did, that's pretty damn impressive. Now I'm trying desperately to get my HDL up, but every time I go in for my monthly blood test it keeps coming back lower and lower. :l
