Are these red marks left after acne, or acne?

Ok, so i think these are those PIH marks, but they could be acne, can anyone tell me what they are, and how to get rid of them? (I am on DUAC and Taz), will those eliminate them eventually?

And, in the mean time, is there anything i can do to lessen their appearance?

If they're flat to the touch, and not bumps like regular acne, then they are red marks.

Check out some of the permanent threads at the very top of the forum. They should help you decide what's best for you in getting rid of red marks. :)

Or, what should i use, there are so many options, and my skin is very dry and sensative now...but not really normally (I am on week 2 of DUAC + TAZORAC)

I've only ever had experience w/ a topical glycolic acid moisturizer (Neutrogena Healhy Skin Facial Lotion) and that's slowly working at fading my red marks. Something to try if what you're using now doesn't work.

Fade em with lustra af.. Hyrdoquionone cream. it works very vey fast. get it online at a canadian pharmacy as they don't require prescription.

That works for brown marks, not red. Hydroquinone is a bleaching cream. As for how long it will take for red marks to fade...it just depends. Some can take days or weeks, some can take many months to a year or more. But they should all fade completely, eventually.
