killua 0 Share Posted October 26, 2007 I usually shower 2 hours before bed. I know that after you cleanse, you must wait 10 minutes for your face to reach the potential ph level before you can add in BP. Yes, I do that, however, after that I don't wait 15 minutes to apply moisturizer. Is this okay? Usually when I do, my face gets really oily before I go to bed. So is it okay to wait about an hour and a half then add the moisturizer? Will it affect anything? Thanks in advance for your input.
ashleyms 0 Share Posted October 26, 2007 I know that after you cleanse, you must wait 10 minutes for your face to reach the potential ph level before you can add in BP. Is that really true? I'd always used BP right after washing my face.
Le Mois 0 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Basically, your face should be dry when you put on the the BP, and dry when you moisturize. Otherwise nothing soaks into your face as well.
Eryka 1 Share Posted October 31, 2007 I do a lot of the same in the summer. It gets so humid where I live that moisturizer doesn't dry. I wash my face and them maybe 10 mins before I go to bed I put the lotion on. Also this way it's cooler at night and your body is calm. Nothing wrong with it. Personally I would think it's more important to put the BP on quicker, since it's medicine. Moisturizer is more or less optional depending on your skin.
