Hi, guys!

Clindamycin has been working well for me. Because it's an antibiotic, though, I know continual use may cause me to become immune to its full effects. I think Clindamycin works by killing the bacteria in your pores that causes acne - am I correct?

My goal is to find a similar OTC product that kills bacteria in the pores. It doesn't necessarily have to do anything for active acne. My plan, once I'm pretty much clear, is to use one of these bacteria-killing products for a month or so, then switch to the other, so that I still retain the benefits of cleaning out my pores without my system getting over-used to the antibiotic. I know this sounds really, very stupid, but I like the whole "kill acne where it starts" idea, and it's been working for me so far. I'm just trying to brainstorm ways to keep up the results before I over-abuse the antibiotic. ;) Lol!

Thanks,

Lauren
