Mysteryagain 0 Share Posted September 23, 2007 I have seen plenty of posts about lemon and egg white being good for an overall tightening effect and for red marks, but I am not sure if that means that it can make the pores look smaller. Does it tighten the skin in a way so that it stretches the pores flattening them, so they are less visible? I am concerned about shrinking pores or stretching the skin to make them appear "unexistent", not concerned about oiliness.Does one have to put it on and then remove it or leave the egg white and then use the makeup and everything on top?Hope I posted this in the right board/s!Hugs
whateverlol 0 Share Posted February 9, 2008 I've done this once a long time ago and honestly I can't even remember if it worked...I don't think it did that well. All I know is that it smelled vile...Lol. But You can sure give it a shot, couldn't hurt.
Just me! 0 Share Posted February 9, 2008 I tried using the egg whites as a facial mask... It did tighten my pores SLIGHTLY and made my skin look a little better. But it was only for a very short time (I think a couple of hours? I left the mask on until it completely dried, which took ~30 minutes for me.). I don't think that the effects will be permanent. As for whitening red marks, I didn't see any difference...HTH
