Wedding Make-up

Okay, I'm in a wedding in October, and the dress looks absolutely wretched

on me  (autumn type colors), and I've NO CLUE what sort of make-up

to wear with it.

It's like a burnt copper, orange dress with a chocolate colored sash  .

It's not my season , so what do I do?

Meh.... Hmmmm...

Minimal makeup.. Maybe just mascara (liner if you use it), & gloss.. Or a neutral lip shade.

That's the best idea I can come up with.. Unless you want to try to force your face to match your dress. Good luck! ;)

You just have to use coral-based colors...peachy-types. For your blush and lipstick...and a neutral eyeshadow.

Why does it look bad on you? Does it make you look pale or flushed? How is the color unflattering? Figure that out first & then use makeup to counteract that.

Example: light blue is extremely unflattering on me & makes my pale olive skin look sallow. I had to take photos with a light blue background, so I wore red lipstick to combat the sickly effect; if I had done a pale lip I probably would've looked totally washed out.

I dunno, everything about it looks bad on me, I don't wear brown or orange.

I have blue eyes, blonde hair and fair skin, it looks aweful on me.

I suppose it makes me look pink and flushed, how do counteract it?

Browns supposedly make blue eyes more obvious. A brown smokey eye would be lovely. Gold/coppery eyeshadows also look lovely on blondes with blue eyes. You're already stunning so it won't be hard to play your face up. :)

wear neutral colors that bring out your eyes, but please don't go too natural. you won't like how you look in pictures. as long as you're using colors that compliment your skin tone and are neutral enough not to conflict with the color of the dress, you should be okay. consult a make-up artist and your favorite counter or ask at sephora. trust me though, while it may seem like a lot, put on enough eye make-up to bring out your eyes in pictures. have a good time!!! :)
