Do acne/scars make you avoid confrontations & decisions?

I do. I just walk away, and shrug.

Also I dont make many decisions outside of work, I leave it up to the other person.

Because acne seems like one of those things that's mostly out of

your control, it gave me a desire to be in control of everything else

that I possibly could :D

And I don't like to dawdle around decisions. Even if it's wrong in the

end, at least I didn't leave something unfinished.

Good point.

Although I don't like confrontations regardless of my acne, if I believe in something strongly enough I will fight for it.

My job is all about making decisions on demand, so avoiding it is out of the question.

I don't work, but I am a freshman at uni. I have a bit of acne, and it's gotten worse as of recently, but I still speak up in class and usually when we do group projects in anthropology I'm the head. I like to be in charge, and while I feel a tad bit uncomfortable when it comes to others staring at my face, I try to not think about my face and instead focus at the task at hand. It makes dealing easier.

I despise acne, but I would despise myself if I let it take over my life.

Acne scarring really doesn't have anything to do with my decision making process. The only thing that affects my decision making is basic impatience with slow-wittedness and inability to make a decision. ;) I get a bit snippy when someone beats around fifty bushes before getting to the point, mostly in real life.

My job is all about snap decisions and they have to be good ones as lives are at stake. I can't spend minutes debating what to do; I have to decide and do it...sometimes in seconds.
