Any surgeon in Houston

Hi,

I have quite a few shallow rolling scars on my face which look like indentations and look very horrible under certain lighting conditions. I'm expecting now and as a result my break outs have completely stopped. So I was hoping to do something about the scars now. Can somebody recommend me a good dermatologist/surgeon in the Houston area? From my reading on this board, I think I would probably need subcision and/or fillers. I also want to know if it is really possible to see a difference inshallow scars in your opinion.

Thanks and really waiting for a response

I've been seeing a doctor in The Woodlands which is close to Houston. He is a specialist in vein and laser procedures but has helped me quite a bit with my acne. I have been to him about 7-8 times to help get my acne under control. He does a salysilic acid peel then a microdermabrasion and then the photofacial. I am not sure he could help you with scarring but give him a call. I am also going to ask him about that when I see him next. His name is Dr. Gregg Reger. Look him up at www.myveinandlasercenter.com. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply Yellowbug.

I will call this doctor. Do you know if he accepts any form of insurance? Looks like you had a good experience with him...his website is down right now.

Thanks and good luck with your acne treatments

No I don't think they accept insurance because he only does cosmetic procedures. I find that lame because something like getting rid of acne isn't just because we want to look pretty. It's a medical condition. I hope he can help you and good luck!
