Alright I've been posting threads like a madman (forgive me if it's obnoxious), but this is my first in the "Nutrition & Holistic Health" thread. I'm trying to incorporate an acne-free diet into my regime, so it'd be fab if everyone could share some yummy foods that don't seem to spark a breakout! Also, if you guys could share the bad foods that would be lovely too.

Ok here are my good foods:

*Green Tea

*Cold Buckwheat Soba (wait, is Buckwheat bad for acne though?)

*Kiwi Fruit

*Roast Chicken

*Salad w/Hard Boiled Egg

*Curry w/Rice (again...possibly bad for acne?)

*Cultured Yogurt (the bacteria is good for you!)

*Vegetarian Lasagne

*Mandarin Oranges

And bad foods:

*Feta Cheese (super evil)

*ICE CREAM

*Coffee Drinks

*Potato Chips or any salted Chip

*Ramen :(

*Miso Soup

*Excess Tofu or Soy Products

*White Bread

*Nutella

Look at my sig to know about my diet.

For the first 3-4 weeks I would definitely avoid all grains (including rice) and dairy products and see how that works out.

To stick to a diet it helps to keep a daily log of everything you eat and how you feel.

The cultured yoghurt is a good idea, is it kefir?

You should add in some supplements probably too:

- omega 3

- zinc

- some vitamins

Cold Buckwheat Soba and miso? wheres the sushi? :D

apples daily are good.

and about curry, what kind? the ones with yogurt or without? chinese indian? instant ones from japan :D

I know Green Tea is big on this board, however, if one of your problems is caffeine, then this is still a no no. Even naturally decaf green tea has 4 milligrams of caffeine (decaf is not the same as caffeine free) and regular green tea has 55 milligrams of caffeine.

make sure ur eating the brown rice

other then that here my diet

a work in progress

meat, all kinds of meat

brown rice

beans, the whole ones

drink grean tea and a bunch of supplements

right now im in the process to see if im a protien type, i notice that every type of grain breaks me out, mercola is the way to go

What kinds of grains/breads should I stay away from? I get really confused when bread says "whole wheat", or "whole grain". What does this mean!!! Can I not eat toast anymore!?

Mmmm yes sushi too! But ever since I moved to Australia, I can't find any good sushi places/ingredients!! (My mom is Japanese so I was raised on goooood Japanese food). And I'll eat any kind of curry, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Korean, yumm.

To those health afficionados.....
