BP... Ingredients

My dermatologist has prescribed me "Hydroalcoholic Base BP 5% Acne Gel" It contains 5% BP, 12% alcohol, magnesium aluminum silicate, hypromellose, citric acid, disodium lauryl sulfosuccinate and purified water.... What do you think about those ingredients?

alcohol??? that sounds bad...

Not always. The idea that alcohol is always bad for your skin isn't really true. There are different formulations of alcohol - some are more irritating and drying than others. Alcohol can actually be a very effective vehicle for many acne medications.
