Are "redmarks" and brown marks the same thing.

Recommended Posts

Whenever a lesion goes away, for me, the spot is a lot more brownish then red. is there any difference between the two? I heard somewhere brown marks take longer to fade, but i'm not sure, so anyone that can answer thanks.

hmmm actually could be the lighting you are in while you look at the mark. Because if it's made from an acne mark it's red but it could depend i guess since everyone is different. Most brown marks are left after the red mark has faded into it. whenever that may be. least in my experience.

Yeah lighting issues can make it hard for you to tell if its really a brown mark or a red mark. Either way, if it used to be a pimple, its going to take some time to fade. Brown marks are usually skin damaged parts of skin. Red marks are the real inflamed spots where acne used to be.
