Brown Spots? (Hyperpigmentation)

Recommended Posts

You could maybe try some sort of fade cream. I am currently using fade cream on my lower back scars, but I haven't been using it very long at all so i'm not sure it is taking effect. I have seen good reviews for Palmer's skin success eventone fade cream though. sorry if that was abit unhelpful.

Well, I have a medium amount of brown spots all on my face. Does anyone have any tips on fading them?

is your acne controlled? if you still have active acne maybe its best if you treat those first.. if you are clear i know there is a lot of treatments out there.. whats your skin tone? it also depends on your skin type.. some treatments are not suited for some skin types.. chemical peels are good as long as done by a knowledgable doctor or aestethician...

Well, all I have now is brown spots, no active acne, etc. You could say I'm clear. I just get white heads, or black heads once in awhile, and I have Asian skin.

Retinol (Vitamin A)

Oestradiol benzoate

Also, could anyone tell me if these ingredients in this foreign product are any good solving brown spots?

I would try products with glycolic acid in them. Retin A may help. Plus, there are tons of skin lighteners, & brighteners out there.

Treatment

Treatment of hyperpigmentation may include hydroquinone, kojic acid, azelaic acid, ascorbic acid, tretinoin (Retinol), topical glucocorticoids, and licorice extract. Note that all treatments will fail if the affected area is exposed to the sun and if there is not adequate UVA/UVB protection.
