Hey there -

I answered your "Accutane" post, but I don't think you have Rosacea, but Tane burn. Howeve, your dose *could* be too strong for your skin and if so, you may want to talk to your Derm. about lowering it a little. Too high of dose for sensitive skin or if you are experiencing uncomfortable burning/stinging/flushing etc..... It could give you Rosacea if not recognized quickly (like if you over looked it for awhile). I do have mild Rosacea myself, and that is why I'm on lower dose of Accutane for my mild chin acne.

Good luck and your skin does look good and gettin' acne free.

Yvette

Have you tried using some aloe vera gel on your face? I'm using a tube I picked up from Walgreens for about $3 and I like how it helps with the irritation. Its the plain clear aloe vera gel Walgreens brand (NOT the one with menthol).

Does aloe vera moisturize? I've heard it does wonders and seems logical to use for facial redness but could I substitute this for my Cetaphil moisturizing lotion?

Sorry for the hijack TS, if it makes you feel better mine is worse than yours and is on more areas of the face...

It really depends on your skin. Aloe vera gel has some moisturizing properties, but for my dry sensitive skin, I can't rely on aloe vera alone. So I follow up with the Cetaphil moisturizing lotion. I imagine for some people the aloe vera may be all they need.
