Comments on REPECHAGE products- ingredients

Recommended Posts

I am using 3 cleansing products from REPECHAGE. They are quite expensive like $25-35 each bottle.

1. Repechage Hydra refine-One-minute clarifying mask (for normal to oily skin). $26.00 Main ingredients: Seaweed (oil controlling marine seaweed), Lily of the Valley (fights blemish causing bacteria), Lemongrass (astringent, purifies and refreshes), cucumber (cools, heals and soothes).

Other ingredients:

Water, butylene glycol, sorbitol, kaolin, oryza sativa (rice) bran wax, propylene glycol ceteth-3 propionate, cetyl alcohol, zinc oxide, laminaria saccharina extract, cymbopogon schoenanthus (lemongrass) oil, cucumis sativus (cucumber) fruit extract, cucumis sativus (cucumber) oil, farnesol, morus bombycis root extract, glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) extract, xanthan gum, kojic acid, lactic acid, allantoin, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, calcium silicate, aluminum magnesium silicate, PEG-4, prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, disodium EDTA, methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, ethylparaben, phenoxyethanol.

2. Repechage Astringent Pads (for normal to oily skin). The same main ingredients as number 1. I love this, smell good, and takes all the dirt. Leaves my face smooth, hydrated, not oily.

3. Repechage pore perfecting serum. Same ingredients as number 1. Others ingredients:

Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, cyclopentasiloxane, PEG-8, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Phospholipids, acrylates, xantham gum, TEA-carbomer, acrylates, laminaria saccharina, cellulose, morus bombycis root extract, sweet almond oil, propylpapaben, Phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, EDTA ,etc. .............

This serum leaves my skin shiny.

I have been breaking out lately and not sure if the culprit is these products or not. Because I am not an expert, really don't have a clue what these ingredients mean. Need your help to decipher this and tell me if it helps or not for acne (noncomodogenic? doesn't say on the label but my aesthecian assured me they are) and for daily cleansing.

Before I use any of these, I wash with Neutrogena Acne wash (contains 2% salicylic acid- the orange pump bottle).

I am doing the apple cider vinegar every night and like to continue but don't know if these repachage products will be counterproductive.

THANKS. And please do not discard this message, need bad your input

and also possible substitutions.
