topical treatment

hello,

i don't want to use topical treatments really... but my skin looks so crap i'm kind of desperate!

so, what's best? just dab on some bp cream?

you're on accutane? you really don't need to, and shouldn't, use most topical treatments. i would advise against using BP. it will just irritate your skin and cause redness. if you want to use a topical during accutane, i think cleocin t would be the best one to use. you need a prescription for it. i think it is probably one of the only topicals that wouldn't just make your skin worse and more irritated during accutane treatment.

clindasol (non irritating clydamycin cream)

bactroban (topical antibiotic for any infections)

I use clindamycin phosphate solution for spot treatments which my derm told me to. But lately because I no longer have any pimples, I hardly use it anymore but will continue using it should I have any, hopefully not! I also use Retin-A sometimes to treat my hyperpigmentation.
