I'm taking two supplements but they contain both the same vitamin plus some other helpful stuff.

One has 1000µg vitamin A and 4,2mg betacarotene and the other has 1,2mg of betacarotene.

So I'll be taking daily: 1000µg = 1mg vitamin A and 5,4mg of betacarotene.

Do y'all thinks this is harmful?

And will it be safe to eat carrots (i really like them :P)?

That'll be fine as far as I can see. Excess beta carotene gets passed out of the body, not stored, so it will not build up to harmful levels.

eat more carrots instead, drop vitamin A supplements, that vitamin is in so many veggies it's a waste of money
