Alkaline Wash Treament Program Log

Recommended Posts

I will be starting a new program called the alkaline wash treatment program. It goes for six weeks and cost $1,200 the package includes home products that i have to use. Worst case scenario is that i will need two treatment programs but even then i will need to have cyst and nodules WHICH I DO NOT HAVE. I will be posting updates in this thread weekly with images to keep you guys updated. You can view before iimages by clicking here

Week 1 of 6:

I have just had my first alkaline wash treatment done. My back stings like hell because the wash they use removes all dead skin cells in the process. The person who was performing the treatment also squeezed my acne a little which made it even more painful. I will be posting some images tonight when i have a camera to use.

As you can see from the images below my acne as become inflamed and alot more red from the treatment it does sting a little. But this is the result of my dead skin cells being burned off, not litterily of coarse this is just an expression.

This is something new to me, I haven't heard of something like this. What do they actually do during the wash and what kind of products are they using? It looks painful especially when you said your cysts exploded and why is it so expensive? Does it come with a tag that says 100% cure? Is it recommended by the derm because I would rather be on accutane then go through this. My opinion of course.

Next time i go into the place in which i get this done i will ask those questions and grab a pamphlet or something

EDIT:

I have just rang up the place were i am getting the treatment done and found this out about the program:

why is it so expensive?

When you brake it down each treatment actually cost $200 each and the program goes for 6 weeks (6 times $200 equals $1200), and the cream used is quite new and advanced. The program also includes free home products that you must use 3 times a day once in the morning and twice at night

Does it come with a tag that says 100% cure?

it varys from person to person depending on how severe your acne is, it will generally get rid of serious acne such as cyst and nodules within one programs taking about 6 weeks and costing $1200 all up.

Is it recommended by the derm because

Because this treatment is fairly new there will not be many dermotologist that would have heard of it. To my knowledge it is recommended by those who do know about the treatment.

Week 2 of 6

As you can see my acne is not as red as seen in my last log, you can see little improvement. But something you cannot see are the cyst on the sides of my face have gone down and are not as big as they were before. On the back of my neck you will see some dark red or black spots that is blood, during the treatment i had the top taken off the cyst, causing some blood. One side effect i have received from this treatment which is normal and happens in most cases, my skin has started braking or in other words puss, blood and all the gross stuff is weeping out where ever it can. THis happens because there is no dead skins cells to hold it in and the skin eventually brakes and causes this weeping affect to happen.

Week 3 of 6

My Bacne has cleared up tones, but a new cyst which as just grown is right in the center. My derm says this is nothing to worry about its just the acne protesting. My face it a little bit redder than last week, this is a natural thing and happens whenever they the alkaline wash, apparently. Last week they used this enzym stuff not sure what it is called. I am feeling no pain now whenever i turn my neck; this was a regular thing for me in the past :(. I have been told on how much better my skin looks by my friends and family.

It is looking better, but not as well as I would have expected for something as expensive as the treatment...that's not Accutane.

Once you've finished this treatment, please do consider changing derms so that you might be able to go on Accutane. The treatment cannot provide you with the remission that Accutane could.

They said you don't have cysts and nodules? They're incorrect. Your acne is visibly nodular and cystic. But it is improving; just not as much as it should for such an expensive treatment.

I'm glad for you, and I'm glad you like the treatment so far. Good luck! Mine was exactly like yours when I was prescribed Accutane. It is painful. It sucks to go through this type of stuff...but I do believe that many people become ever so much more compassionate when they do experience something as humbling as acne.

You're a strong, capable young man. Cute, too! :D

^Since this little old lady thinks you're cute, no doubt there are many ladies your age who will think so, too. ;)

So I thought that i should do an update on this log since its been soo long. The treatment does work very well and its a good natural way to cure you acne with no side effects. But the problem is money. I actually didn't get the number of treatment recommended, that would've cost me thousands of dollars. Another problem would be how painful the treatment is. The treatment works but the amount of money you have to spend is enormous.
