My derm told me to use kefir on my skin. Any opinions???

Recommended Posts

No, it's a liquid yogurt drink.

as far as using it on your skin, aren't many facial masks very similar to yogurt in their composition? It's feasible, I think, I don't know what good it would do, probably just make your skin smooth and/or soft

well i've heard of applying yoghurt to the face as a cleanser or a mask. I have heard of 2 apparent benefits...1) it is an acid ph which helps elimate bacteria 2) there may be some beneficial interactions between the culture in the yoghurt and the p. acnes and yeasts on your face.
