lipid metabolism

Hi guys.

I have very oily t-zone and dry skin elsewhere on my body.

No acne though!

I've read the sebum production is linked to lipid metabolism. What are your thoughts on this?

I eat healthy..lots of green stuff and limited carbohydrates and dairy products. No sugars. What else can I do?

I tried B5 in the past but I got too many side effects and it wasn't that much helpful anyhow.

Sebum production is linked to hormones, particularly testosterone's breakdown to DHT (in my opinion)

And yes, fish oil. I would also couple fish oil, saw palmetto and flax seeds.

Fish oil = check the sticky and read on the dosage section, it will tell you (walmart brand is great)

Flax seeds = grind them, 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup a day (cheap stuff)

Saw palmetto = 3 a day

Try it out. They all work synergetically :)

Yup i thought cyph was referring to that but the stuff i got is 'extra' concentrated omega 3 so i can get plenty omega 3 before ODing on Vit A or D.
