urgent product advice needed!! (uk)

Recommended Posts

Ok i seem to be stuck in an endless cycle here.... i've been on tetracycline for a few weeks now and it can make you sensitive to the sun, apparently. summer is finally here in the uk (sort of!) so i've been desperately searching places like boots and various supermarkets for a good sunscreen that WON'T BLOCK MY PORES. I'm getting a little irritated by this b/s that you read everywhere saying 'always buy a sunscreen that says non comedogenic' well i've spent hours looking at bottles of sunscreens and none of them ever say this. I finally settled on one in boots - soltan spf 30 - because it says 'non pore blocking'. i used it a few days ago and i have broken out like crazy all around the areas where i used the cream, so i don't think it's a coincidence. now i don't want to stop my medicine but i don't feel like i can go out in the sun! Please please please can somebody tell me a good sunscreen that i can buy without ordering online as i need it ASAP, that won't cause this to happen? thanks in advance! matt.

i live in the uk as well...i just came back from the bahamas, i used nivea for the 1st half of the holiday...whatver you do do not use it on your face, it broke me out like crazy!!!! while i was there i switched to using Lancaster, which is pretty expensive, but my breakouts stopped as soon as i started using it. They do a special face one which costs quite a bit but will last ages because it's only for the face
