Aspirin masks are one of my favorites. Basically dissolve a few aspirins in your hand, mix it with your daily cleanser, and apply to your face for 30 minutes or so. Cheap and effective, though definitely not a blackheads cure by any mean.

I second the aspirin mask...(made quite a long post to someone else about that). I like trying to make stuff myself if I can because you can pretty much use whatever you want/whatever works for you. Things like honey (antiseptic qualities I think?), plain yogurt (lactic acid helps soften skin), avacado (moisturizing) are nice too for masks...look it up on google and you'll find a bunch of things to try. As far as oils, I've tried jojoba, camellia, and vitamin e and I love all because I have very dry skin. If by drinkable vitamins you mean like Emergen-C, I take that sometimes but I can't really vouch for effects on skin. Does definitely give you energy, shorten colds and make them a little more bearable though.
