Aldara is a biological response modifier and is used in treatment of external anogenital warts or condylomata acuminata. It works by aiding the immune system to help protect the body from viruses that cause warts and helps to relieve and control wart production. It looks like this medicine can’t do anything for acne.

Acyclovir is an antiviral drug (acyclic analogue of the natural nucleoside, guanosine) used to treat herpes simplex virus infections, and varicella zoster infections. Never heard about application of acyclovir as an acne medication.
