My makeup arrived (AN), and it's too ORANGE. The samples didn't look orange on me - they looked splendid (or so I thought) - but when I looked into the mirror in the car, my face looked like an orange mask and my neck was so white. I even applied the makeup to my neck to prevent this, but I still have an orange face and an orangeish neck.

My friend reassured me that it wasn't orange, but pink. o.o

I'm pretty sure I'm a neutral - I have yellow undertones as well as pink ones - but for some reason this makeup isn't working for me. I can't return it.

Do you think a lightener will work? I saw some for sale online. I'm thinking it might not be the hue but the depth of colour: it's too dark. Or what if I lighten it, then mix a warm/cool to it?

Help, please. =/ I'm on a limited income and can't afford more makeup.

PS: Hubby says I'm insane, and it doesn't look too orange OR pink, but just right. o.O I don't know what to think. In natural light, I feel like I'm wearing an ugly mask.

Thanks. I actually heard about them from one of your boards before. ^^

I hope they work.
