I’ve noticed that during cold or influenza my acne are getting better. Obviously, there is connection between drugs I take and acne betterment. Well working drug from cold is called “Coldflu extraâ€. Here is the composition of one tablet.

Caffeine – 30 mg (stimulator)

Paracetamol – 500 mg

Chlorpheniramine maleate – 2 mg (antihistamine)

Phenylephrine Hydrochloride – 25 mg (α-adrenergic receptor agonist)

After two-four days of its usage all pimples fade away and none of extra ones appear. This effect is gained due to anti-inflammatory properties of the drug. However, chlorpheniramine has a sort of antidepressant capabilities (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor capabilities), and I wonder if long time usage is harmless. I’ve tried to use it irrelevantly of cold and the results were the same. I took one tablet before sleep, but prescription from cold says 3-4 tablets should be taken every day. This drug causes drowse.
