UpgradeDiva 0 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Monthly? Bimonthly? Less often?I am trying to get a feel of what dermatologists recommend on average in terms of frequency for IPL treatments.
lau 0 Share Posted June 23, 2007 I'm having a course of 5, I've had the first 2 already and they'll each be 3 to 4 weeks apart.
Shandon2 0 Share Posted June 23, 2007 Hi., They recommend atleaset 3 weeks apart so that the skin has time to heal inbetween sessions. I havent had one since last fall but they sure dont tickle eh. I equate the snapping sensation to someone placing a cigarette on ones face...Im sure childbirth is less painful
Nurse Tara 0 Share Posted July 3, 2007 I've had IPL before, but I didnt complete the course, I think I only did 2 or 3 treatments... Im back to it on saturday and I would love to space it 2weeks apart so i can see a faster improvment.... do any of you see a problem with this? Im really sneaky and thought if the IPL person wont do that for me, Ill go to another clinic on alternative weeks and get my one treatment every two weeks that way... what do you guys think? Thanks!
