Topical Antibiotics

I was wondering if resistance to topical antibiotics, specifically Sodium Sulfacetamide and clindamycin, could build up over time similarly to an oral antibiotic?

Definitely. Although they say that using a gel that has an antibiotic plus benzoyl peroxide helps decreaes the likelihood of bacterial resistance developing. Examples are Benzamycin (Erythromycin plus BP) and Benzaclin (Clindamycin plus BP).
