BP around lips?

I have some small but painful red pimples coming up right under my bottom lip on both sides, in the place where I don't put BP on (too close to the mouth) - should I just slather them in BP as well or what?

I find that if BP goes anywhere near my lips, my skin flakes for days on end in that area and I get redness. Lips are very sensitive and you should be really careful when putting BP near them. It depends on the person though, depending on their skin type.

Perhaps use something other than BP on the ones around your lips? I use a spot treater with Tea Tree and Witch Hazel on those because it doesn't make my skin sore.

You can apply it there, just be careful not to get it directly onto the lips or they may get dry. I apply bp right up close to the lip line.

I get pimples right on the border of my lips also, so I apply BP right up to them. I usually slather vaseline on my lips before applying BP so they don't absorb it.

Thanks for the tips. I have a cold sore to make things worse :(

That's a form of herpes actually...my sis gets them & swears by Abreza to clear it up faster.
