epicd00de 0 Posted June 20, 2007 hey im new here, and have had acne since i was like 13 i guess. i have quite a few scars/red marks on my forehead left over from acne, and my mom has this vitamin A cream, and i think i remember reading somehwere that it could help scars, and make your skin just look good. so my question is, does it work? mary prankster 0 Posted June 20, 2007 hey, welcome to the board vitamin a cream should help you. i was just at the doctor's yesterday and he perscribed me 0.1% vitamin a cream for residual acne on my face. he said it will help to remodel the skin. it also comes in lower concentrations (0.025% and 0.05%), which might be better suited to you because vitamin a can be very irritating and you need to build up a tolerance to it first. i had already been using 0.05% for a long time, so that's why he gave me the stronger one. a milder concentration will still bring positive results though, so don't worry Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
