I have a flat redmark on my cheek. I am brown skinned. I am not sure if it is a scar but it is hypopigmented. It is not a white spot but red since it is recent (about 4 months- early February). My question is can I ever restore the pigment to the original skin color. I know this is a temporary patch of skin that is healing. It feels flat just like regular skin but is a little softer than the regualr surrounding skin. My derm prescribed me with tretinoin cream and I have seen some improvement in the pigment regrowth, but it is very slow improvement. My queston is will the product in the link below help with restoring pigment/natural skin color back to this redmark faster. It is a vilitigo treatment. Any help is greatly appreciated.

you may have more success with an answer to this question in the red marks section of the scar forum.

I suggest reposting there (or ask a mod to move this one).

Best of Iuck.
