Finacea - only for Rosacea?

Is Finacea only for people that have rosacea or can it be prescribed for facial redness resulting from mild acne as well? If anyone has tried Finacea before, please let me know how you found it's effectiveness at reducing redness and restoring the normal skin colour.

Thanks! :D

I have the exact same problem, mild redness and although it does help slightly in evening out the redness in my complexion, its by no means a miracle. Clonidine for flushing is amazing though.

So far, I would say its a great product. Works for acne and redness.

JUST BE SURE TO EXFOLIATE. You build a tolerance fast, so you need to exfoliat before you use every time to insure your fact absorbs it.

Youll find that it doesnt burn or string after a week or so, youll find its exfoliative effect is strongest initially.

Also, its mechanism of action is not known. The cause of acne is not understood, its not as simple as people here think.

The mechanism of azelaic acid is unknown? Where did you read that?
