It should help reduce the oil production. Just try it and see if it works.

Ive been taking fish oil for a couple of months. My face is less oily but I still wake up every morning with an oily nose and my pores on my nose and my temples are all clogged. Yuck

You have to take alot of pills or softgels to get results. I'd say if you're fat, take green tea pills and if you're skinny, take fish oil. Fish Oil is definately worth a try for a skinny or fat person though. Good Luck.

Well, besides the information gathered and people saying it has helped them, here are other threads you may want to see from other people than me:

And some from other boards that I don't even talk to.

And a huge threads on fish oil from health boards:

It's really simple, if your acne is hormonal related, it will help a LOT because what it does. All the info is in the fish oil thread as you know. Of course, it also depends on your severity. Each person is different.

But the downside is this:

1) Patience 2) Quantity (between 3 to 6 grams) 3) Dedication for 3 to 4 months.

People usually do not wait that long, they all want fast results. People usually do not do it properly either, they take a couple of pills and expect miracles. Or the do it for a short period of time. It takes months to replenish a huge o3 deficit. Yes, months. Not weeks. But it gets better slowly and it's worth it, in my opinion.

Good luck. And remember, it's not a cure, there is no such thing as a cure. But it will help prevent.
