I know many of you take vitamins, for those of you who take several different kinds a day - is it safe to take a whole bunch at once? Specifically, this is what I'm planning on doing --

With breakfast - Omega 3, Multi-Vitamin, Vitamin C

With lunch - Omega 3

With dinner - Omega 3, Vitamin C, Zinc, Calcium

Any reason to believe that taking those at the same time would be bad? I just did it for the first time tonight, and swallowing four pills at once felt kinda strange, lol. I just want to make sure I'm not doing too much at once.

pop one in your mouth, take a sip of water, swallow, wait a few seconds

repeat until done

if i could afford to take 20 fish oil pills per meal i would

Oh, I phrased that badly! I just meant "taking" them all at once, I didn't swallow all four at the same time, just one right after the other :)

You're really liking the fish oil huh? I've just started with it, going to start with 900 mg for a few days then work my way up.

I take about 9 pills per day. Four morning, three mid-day, and two at night =(

I am experimenting with 5 out of the 9 pills though, normally it's just 4

I understod what you meant and you pose a very good question cookiecrumbles. I take ALL my vitamins after lunch, everyday...been doing so for the past year without a problem YET..I still wonder if its a good idea to mix them all together at one time.

B complex

MSM

ALA

C

calcium

COQ10

Flaxseed oil

That's nothing, you should see the list some people I know have... 20 types of pills a day, insane.

I keep mine to a minimum. omega 3 supps/multi vitamin/antihistamines. I am going to need vitamin E though due to the new batch of o3's that have no tocopherol

You're best off separating the zinc and calcium to different meals. They compete for absorption.

yes the zinc and calcium should be separated.

also, i reckon you should take zinc in the morning with your breakfast?
