Tretinoin, active ingredient in Retin A is touted an anti-aging cream. It stimulates collagen production to a degree because the skin is rapidly turning over the outer skin layer. It will shallow out some past scars but by no means is it a replacement for collagen injections or botox. I use it as a maintainance cream for both acne and wrinkle prevention.

Second generation copper peptide in conjunction with salicylic acid and manual exfoliation will help. For more information, check out www.skinbiology.com

You need to start slowly with copper peptides. You need to start with serums before proceeding slowly to the creams, which are the strongest formulations; however if you tend to break out, stick with the serums.
