Bacteria term among the main reasons of occurrence of acnes. The role of bacteria consists in evolution of an inflammation.

Different germs can populate a leather and hair follicles. These are so-called propionibacteria: Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes) and Propionibacterium granulosum, and also dermal staphilococcus Staphylococcus epidermidis. Except for them, on a leather and in sebaceous glands other bacteria, funguses (for example, Malassezia - a change agent of a dandruff and a seborrheal dermatitis) and ticks Demodex who can play a role in evolution of pink acnes are constantly or temporarily detected. The numbered germs do not call sicknesses of a leather in the majority of people. They are representatives of normal microflora of a leather. They are related to diseases only when for this purpose the special requirements - for example, blockage of a follicle and excessive activity of sebaceous glands are framed.

For 2-3 years before sexual maturity of the person population P. acnes on a leather is sharply incremented: from 1-10 up to millions bacteria on 1 sm2.

The quantity of bacteria on a leather and in a follicle is not related directly to gravity acne. This quantity is defined by a composition of materials on a surface of a leather, one of which bacteria use in nutriment, and others, on the contrary, interfere with their propagation. Besides propagation of bacteria is influenced with access of oxygen and acidity of a leather. P. acnes lives in a follicle below a level of a leather, not requiring in oxygen. Blockage of a follicle does not prevent, but can help manifolding P. acnes.

How bacteria call an inflammation? Ferments of bacteria of a lipase, proteinase, phosphatase and a hyalrunate-liase can split lipids, protein and other materials inside of a follicle and on a surface of a leather, to damage crates. For example, lipases split triglycerides of dermal grease ice up to the free fatty acids - nutrients. It promotes manifolding of bacteria in a follicle.

P. acnes forms the different materials serving by mediators ("messengers") of an inflammation. These materials penetrate for limits of a follicle and involve crates-leukocytes from a copulative cloth surrounding a follicle. P. acnes contacts moleculas-receptors of leucocytes then those ooze the whole gang of materials: interleukins 8 and 12, the factor of a necrosis of tumours. These materials, in turn, influence other crates that result ins to evolution of inflammatory response.

At acnes sick of heavy shapes guess the special response to bacteria - a hypersensitivity, that is some kind of an allergy.

In spite of the fact that bacteria "promote" occurrence of spots, acnes are not infectious. Participation of bacteria in evolution acne is considered secondary, but necessary for occurrence of inflammatory elements of acnes.

It explains efficiency of antibiotics and antiseptics, as one of main resorts of treatment of acnes and care of a leather, inclined to spots.
