Should I pick my blackheads? on Tazorac

Recommended Posts

I have been using tazorac for 2 weeks now and I am getting a lot of blackheads to appear on my forehead only ( I only use Tazorac on my forehead). My forehead is naturally very oily. I am wondering, should I pick these blackheads out? so they don't turn into pimples later on, and so I can get them out quicker?

Need help

Nooooooo!! Please read this before you do absolutely anything! Blackheads are not meant to be picked out or popped or irritated or bothered in anyway. They are nothing like whiteheads and I learned that in such an awful way. Mine became disgusting large red spots and though they didn't scar and went away in about four days, they were still four miserable days where I had to walk around with no way of covering up what had to be the most prominent thing on my face. Literally, only one pore may have a blackhead, but scratching at it infected the other pores too and the spot literally ended up the size of my thumb nail. That entire week I wish I'd never touched my face. Blackheads sometimes come out themselves; if you really must get rid of it, hot water works miracles to just draw it out. But don't pick at it aimlessly!
