Do indented redmarks fade?

Recommended Posts

I know flat, smooth red marks eventually fade... though it might take as long as 5 years I heard. But what about those indented redmarks? Do they actually completely heal in colour and texture/smoothness? And how long?

I have 1 indented scar from chicken pox on my right cheek, and some minor acne scars.

The indented scar has been there for 15 years I think. Still very visible!

Not to mention that I have done microdermabrasion and glycolic acid peel.

Yeah ive had marks on my face for over 6 years

Creams ect only fade the marks, they only way to rid them is pro treatment eg. microderm, skin peel or laser.

i have a big indented mark from chicken pox i had in grade 12 and it hasn't seemed to change at all since then (24 now) but the color is the same as regular skin so it isn't a problem

recently i have gotten a few reddish indents from big whiteheads falling out, hopefully it won't take eons for them to even out

Well it depends on our skin..... i had one on my temple that went away after a month...

if you dont see it improving after 3 weekz of it forming...its either going to take up to 10-12 months to heal/improve or it wont go away at alll (depending on your sin )
