The one pimple on my chin that i mention in a previous post got all big... sigh  So about the icing.... should i continue to ice it even though it's all big and swollen... are the big ones called cysts? it feels and look like a bug bite, but yep it's a pimple.. trying to make me hide my face again.

also soaking ur facce in really hot water makes pimples come to a head and eventually heal alot quicker

^

i believed that would be the case with hot dipping for the past few months but i'm starting to have second thoughts

it definitely brings the bacteria and whitehead to the surface quicker but it also increases the inflammation simply from the increased circulation (the opposite effect from icing)

the problem is when the whitehead finally does come off (with a light touch or from a water blast) it almost always leaves a crater with soft pink tissue underneath and unless my entire face is incapable of any healing anymore these craters seem to last for a few months at least

i haven't popped bumps/whiteheads for many months now

You just got to get lucky with ice. Sometimes it works wonders and other times the attempts are futile. :[ Can't say you didn't try..
