Biore porestrips

Recommended Posts

In the past I've tried Biore porestrips on my nose, and a ton of stuff came out. But afterwards the clean pores on my nose looked huge. Has anyone used this product found that over a long period of time, it shrank the size or appearance of their nose pores?

I used to use them four years ago, but my then-dermatologist told me that they weren't good for the skin, because they were bad for skin elasticity and ripped off pieces of healthy skin and that the detrimental effects of the porestrips would show up with age.

On the contrary, my derm said that the strips makes sense as they help get rid of dead skin and clogged up pores. He says that some blackhead removal machines work the same way. His advice, though, is to be gentle with the skin by not ripping the strip out but slowly lifting it.
